Journal Writing

It can be easy to feel out of touch with what is going on in our lives, and maybe we don't feel that we have permission to express it to anyone. Writing in a journal can be that place where we can express who we are, what's going on in our hearts and minds and bring that kind of honesty before God. God is not impressed with a beautifully written description of our lives, He knows us better than we know ourselves and He sees all our hearts and our thoughts. He wants us to come to Him as we are - Journalling can help honesty seep out of our carefully constructed exteriors and help us to be ourselves with God.

In this podcast, I offer a few tips to getting started and also what to do when you've gone for months without writing in your journal. (Don't throw it away and start a new one!)
